Senior LevelNovant Health Heart & Vascular Institute is a large multispecialty Institute providing integrated inpatient and outpatient service line management of the cardiology and surgical cardiovascular patient. They are seeking a Medical Director for Advanced Heart Failure to lead initiatives and contribute to the growth of their heart failure program in the Charlotte region.

Responsibilities
Lead the organization in heart failure outcomes initiatives
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the heart failure program
Establish a destination left ventricular assist device (LVAD) center at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center
Provide outreach and clinical support at our six surrounding hospitals and 11 ambulatory sites within the Charlotte area
Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time
Foster teamwork, team member engagement and community involvement
Leverage diversity and inclusion in support of quality care
Foster a safe patient environment driven by the principles of 'First Do No Harm'
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
Completion of an accredited residency program required
For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty
Current MD license in appropriate state
Board certification or eligibility
Current DEA license required
clinical consultative cardiology
proficiency in the management of the entire spectrum of heart failure
Preferred
Fellowship training in heart failure including mechanical circulatory support and recent exposure to contemporary management of the heart failure patient through all care transitions is preferred
