Responsibilities
Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
Analyze market penetration opportunities across the country
Work with strategy team to ensure Ambetter product meets the needs of members state & nationwide
Support market development analysis on various initiatives
Assist with provider network design and on-going provider initiatives
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period
Preferred
Academic coursework in health administration; public health or health sciences
Prior internship experience at a managed care organization
Experience with strategy initiatives and the ability to take information and make recommendations to leadership based on findings
