Responsibilities
Represent clients in Bankruptcy and Foreclosure proceedings, including hearings and mediations
Review, prepare, and manage legal pleadings, motions, and related documents
Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Ensure all actions are completed accurately and within required deadlines
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Active license and good standing with the Maryland and/or Virginia State Bar
Have a vehicle and willing to attend in person hearings
Must reside in Maryland or Virginia
Strong ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality client service
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Detail-oriented, conscientious, and reliable with respect to deadlines and attendance
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
Preferred
0–5 years of Bankruptcy and Foreclosure experience preferred, but willing to train
