Responsibilities
Participate in month-end close activities, including journal entry postings, as well as month-end review meetings, ensuring that financials are all in accordance with GAAP and in accordance with lease accounting standards where applicable
Prepare and analyses timely reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
Participate in monthly variance analysis of Actual results to Plan and Forecast in accordance with published timelines and standards
Complete quarterly lease survey in a timely and accurate manner, complete SOX testing, certify controls and processes, and provide supporting documentation to internal and external auditors within established timelines
Continuously work to improve efficiency and effectiveness of related business processes, understand and address inherent compliance/control risks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred)
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
Strong analytical skills
Capable of effectively prioritizing and managing multiple projects
Candidate must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and have a take-charge personality
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility with regard to peak work times, particularly month end close
5 Years Accounting/Finance experience
Preferred
Experience with Oracle or another enterprise level accounting system preferred
Experience with Blackline preferred
