Information Technology Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget, while providing both strategic and tactical leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage projects from concept creation through implementation, including defining project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks, and resource requirements
Manage user expectations and work collaboratively across the enterprise
Lead cross-functional project teams and vendors, as appropriate, to achieve project objectives
Create and maintain project schedules and budgets; track and control progress to ensure delivery within time and budget constraints
Ensure decisions, actions, and outcomes are documented appropriately
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to all stakeholders; serve as the primary contact with user groups and IT systems management
Assemble and coordinate resources, schedules, task assignments, and project plans; monitor resource utilization and forecast resource needs
Drive resolution of major issues and manage project interdependencies and handoffs
Apply strong problem-solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
Build strong relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Partner with other members of the Project Management Office, providing input on methods and recommending improvements to project management processes, standards, and strategies
Qualification
Required
7+ years of project management experience, including experience providing project support
Experience with business process reengineering initiatives and large-scale software implementations involving rollout of new processes to broad user populations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to remain composed and effective during high-volume or high-pressure periods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of the organization
Sound professional judgment and decision-making skills
Exposure to a wide range of IT systems and services, with the ability to learn new software quickly
Quality-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
Experience using project management and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Siebel, Spekit, Zoom, and related systems
Strong ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet or exceed quality and efficiency metrics
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to retain, organize, and manage large volumes of information
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field preferred
PMP certification a plus
