Senior Lead Program Management Specialist

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lead Program Management Specialist to join their Experimental Systems Group located in Seal Beach, CA. This role involves leading an Integrated Product Team to support the development of new electronic units for space vehicles and missions, while managing project development and design from early capabilities studies through demonstration.

Responsibilities

Lead development of electronic units
Support technology integration for and development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions
Develop and present review packages to internal and external senior leadership
Work proactively and independently in a fast-paced, demanding atmosphere
Manage project development and design from early capabilities studies through demonstration

Required

Experience in systems engineering to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system solutions
Experience in engineering project planning, project management, or program management
This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process

Some travel may be required up to 15% of the time

Preferred

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Minimum 10 years of systems engineering experience
Minimum 6 years of project management experience
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers
Experience in spacecraft, launch vehicles, or highly autonomous unmanned systems
