Warehouse Manager
FirstFour Staffing is a leading recruitment agency in Alabama, collaborating with a reputable organization to find a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily operations, manage a team of approximately 60 employees, and ensure efficient warehouse processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee high volume shipping and receiving teams, ensuring accurate physical counts, adherence to product return protocols, bill of lading accuracy, and reworked product inventory meets manufacturer quality standards
Supervise all Warehouse employees to ensure they are performing their assigned duties in an efficient manner
Design and monitor procedures to prevent the loss of product through pilferage, damage, or aging
Ensure all employees (including exempt, non-exempt, and contract) abide by company policies and procedures as well as OSHA safety guidelines
Inventory management with adherence pertaining to product rotation to LIFO principals
Oversee product swaps, damage, breakage, and returns
Qualification
Required
Minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering, or another industry-related field required. Industry related Experience can substitute for degree
Greater than 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required
Stable work history and verifiable references are a must
Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with transportation management software such as VIP or similar software package
Highly organized, detail oriented
Access to reliable transportation. If driving an automobile while on company business, must possess a valid driver's license in your state of residence and auto insurance. Must be able to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen
