Responsibilities
Consistently meet or exceed personal production goals
Generate business through self-sourced referral partners (realtors, builders, etc.) and company-provided leads
Recruit, hire, train, and motivate Loan Officers
Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
Manage the loan process from application through closing
Ensure efficiency, quality, and exceptional customer experience
Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines
Adhere to Utah DRE and NMLS requirements
Oversee cybersecurity protocols, including for remote staff
Monitor pipelines and market trends
Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and loan quality
Qualification
Required
5+ years of successful mortgage origination experience
2+ years in a management or supervisory role within mortgage banking
Utah Principal Lending Manager (PLM) license or eligibility to obtain (UT-DRE requirements apply)
Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations (TILA, RESPA, ECOA, etc.)
Proven leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Proficiency with LOS platforms and CRM tools
Demonstrated honesty, ethical judgment, and professionalism as required by Utah state code
