Responsibilities
Prepare monthly account reconciliations, prepare financial reports, and report out on findings
Assist with the financial close process, which includes account analysis, preparing journal entries, updating various files and related financial reporting
Be involved with the year-end financial audit to prepare information and work with the auditors
Analyze departmental cost calculations and methods and provide recommendations to improve
Analyze department and part-level costing for significant or unusual areas and work with appropriate areas to correct / improve
Establish various costing rates based on actual costs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
Problem-solving/process improvement mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication
Attention to detail and organization skills
