Qualification
Required
High School or GED Diploma
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and organizational skills required
Medical office skills required (Basic computer skills, Filing Skills, Typing Skills, Registration and Scheduling)
Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas. (Admitting, Business Office, ER)
Preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in insurance verification at an outpatient medical facility or related environment preferred, but not necessary
Fluent In Spanish Preferred But Not Required
Familiarity with HMO/PPO contracts beneficial
Experience in Cerner Rev cycle a plus
Knowledge of wound care terminology a plus
