Responsibilities
Assist with the monthly utility billing review process and support approval activities under guidance
Prepare sample bills and validate meter data following established procedures
Ensure compliance with Vantage standards and customer lease requirements
Use Vantage tools to request, track, and review billing tasks
Follow established policies and procedures for utility billing
Support billing system updates and testing under supervision
Perform quality checks on billing data and escalate issues as needed
Provide documentation and data for internal and external audits
Prepare standard financial and statistical reports as directed
Update dashboards and compile data for variance analysis under guidance
Respond to customer inquiries related to billing under supervision
Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Finance teams to resolve billing issues
Suggest improvements when identified and assist with implementing approved changes
Handle additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or equivalent experience
1–2 years of experience in billing or accounting preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow established processes and seek input when needed
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data validation techniques
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to think critically, address problems and drive efficiencies using metrics and information
Preferred
Familiarity with contracts management or reporting tools is a plus
