2026-2027 Yearlong ADA Compliance Intern
Chicago Transit Authority is the second largest transit system in the country! They are seeking a Yearlong ADA Compliance Intern to assist in the Scheduling and Service Planning department’s ADA Compliance Programs unit, where interns will document technologies, research peer transit systems, and support community feedback initiatives.

Responsibilities
Document and create an evaluation of CTA’s technologies
Research and prepare reports on peer transit systems
Document community feedback and needs
Support CTA’s ADA Advisory Committee and Wayfinding Subcommittee
Qualification
Required
Required enrollment status: Full-time (as defined by your academic institution) in a degree program at an accredited college or university
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient organizational skills with attention to detail
Good project management skills
Strong research and analytical capabilities
Preferred
Preferred Major(s): Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Education, Law, Pre-Law, Public Policy, Planning
Preferred Level of Education: College sophomore and above
The demands associated with the normal office environment
Must be able to comply with office policy to work on-site twice per week
Light physical activity, including walking outdoors and climbing stairs
