Sr. Facilities Engineer
ProMed Molded Products is dedicated to improving health and well-being through cleanroom manufacturing of silicone components. The Sr. Facilities Engineer will ensure that ProMed’s facilities and utilities comply with regulations and support business operations effectively.

Responsibilities
Autonomous planning, organization and supervision of technical and constructional maintenance, renovation, and remodeling work in coordination with Senior Leadership, considering different priorities, strategic goals, economic aspects, and relevant regulations
Maintain knowledge of existing facilities (learn location files, utility feeds, electrical distribution, fire alarm panel functions, etc.)
Provide engineering support for design, construction, startup, commissioning and qualification of new or modified systems
Establishes and cultivates a network of support across functions (laboratory, quality, manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing) to facilitate completion of assignments
Develops work habits, skills, knowledge, and contributions consistent with the Senior level
Ensure all activities are managed in accordance with QMS. Ensure effective closure on QMS documents (audit actions, NC’s, CAPA’s, CC’s, Maintenance records, etc)
Planning and Execution
Oversees review, design, bidding and construction of all repairs and capital improvements
Implements infrastructure management programs to support site needs
Ensures repairs and preventive maintenance are conducted for all sites
Select and manage outside vendors performing building services (Construction, Facility Care, Utility Work, Pest Control, Lawn and Parking Lot Care)
Establishes a competitive bidding system for building services, to assure pricing for basic repairs, materials and service contracts are kept competitive and fair
Participates in project planning
Financial
Develops Tools, including dashboards, for easy snapshots and interpretation of Facilities’ financial position and projections
Assists with the preparation of annual capital and expense budgets
Analyzes actual to budget variances
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry
5+ years of experience with site and building Mechanical Engineering infrastructure systems, building codes, and facilities design
Must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communications skills
Must be a self-starter, work independently, and work in a collaborative and fast paced environment
Experience will include development and tracking of schedules, budgets with cost analysis, construction administration, and proposal writing
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Preferred
Certified Facility Engineer and/or Certified Plant Engineer preferred
Experience with MS Office preferred
