Responsibilities

Lead the design and finalization of user stories, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture, development goals, and quality standards while participating in code reviews to maintain excellence
Collaborate closely with scrum teams, Product Owners, and Senior Software Architects to drive effective communication, component integration, and system performance across the development lifecycle
Own architecture and requirements at the feature level, ensuring solutions meet functional goals, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory requirements
Plan and support Program Increments (approximately three-month cycles), including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress toward strategic delivery targets
Create and maintain clear, up-to-date software architecture documentation and mentor team members by sharing design best practices and technical guidance

Required

5+ years of experience in software development, software design, or architecture as an individual contributor
Hands-on experience in the medical technology industry, ideally working with cardiac informatics platforms or clinical data systems
Skills include software architecture, systems integration, Agile methodology, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), code reviews, requirements management, and technical documentation
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Collaborative communicator with strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and the ability to mentor others while working across stakeholders in a regulated environment
Ability to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position

Preferred

Bonus skills include healthcare interoperability standards such as Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) and Health Level Seven (HL7)
