Coordinator Global Supply Chain

They are seeking a Coordinator for their Global Supply Chain to execute deliverables that support the supply chain organization's business objectives and ensure successful operations across various departments.

Responsibilities
Position communicates to all levels of the organization, as well as all departments within the organization to be successful
Working with UAW partners to resolve issues and maintain positive working relationships
Be the leader for the supply chain production support and shipping operations
Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts production or shipping operations
Assess customer requirements and shipping schedules and work with the logistics group to successfully meet those requirements
Collaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions
Handle complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation
Ability to be flexible at times and work extended and non-core hours, including possible weekends, to support operations
Use problem solving to resolve issues and implement new and innovative strategies
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing
Experience in supply chain operations
Experience leading other employees or teams
Preferred
Experience using problem solving and continuous improvement tools
Experience working with logistics and shipping operations
Understanding of PDCA principles and process
