Account Manager
Executive Scouting is a fast-growing logistics and supply chain organization seeking an Account Manager in Memphis. The role involves managing and growing customer accounts, driving profitability, and delivering an exceptional client experience while being part of a high-performing team with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities
Build and transfer shipments into the TMS accurately and efficiently
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers as a trusted consultant, advocate, and problem solver
Proactively communicate with customers to provide updates, anticipate issues, and ensure high satisfaction
Grow revenue within assigned accounts by identifying and developing new business opportunities
Identify key decision-makers within customer organizations to uncover opportunities, influence freight award decisions, and strengthen long-term partnerships
Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to evaluate pricing and improve gross margin (target: 20%+)
Assist with bids and rate setting to win and retain profitable freight
Maintain accurate data and documentation within internal systems to ensure smooth execution and accountability
Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to overall team success
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
Strong sense of urgency and accountability
Preferred
Preferred experience in direct sales or deadline-driven environments
