They are seeking a highly motivated Contract Instructional Designer to develop an online training curriculum aimed at enhancing the safety of Fire and EMS personnel.

Responsibilities
Create quality eLearning materials including design documents, outlines, interactive exercises, videos, and assessments
Lead the course development process through reviews and updates with project sponsors and SMEs
Partner with Subject Matter Experts to enhance or modify existing storyboards and designs
Develop activities to enhance learner engagement and ensure effective knowledge transfer
Ensure consistent content quality across various formats using a wide range of authoring tools
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in curriculum or eLearning development
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and models such as ADDIE and SAM
Advanced proficiency in Articulate Rise and 360
Experience with Vyond, Video Scribe, CenarioVR, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Ability to handle multiple complex projects independently while adhering to strict deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Technology, Public Safety, or a related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience developing content for first responders or local government (Fire/EMS) is a strong plus
