Parts Cleaner (2nd shift)(Onsite)

Responsibilities

Segregate parts such as aluminum, steel, titanium, stainless steel, and magnesium and position in baskets ensuring parts do not get damaged
Place basket under hoist, lift, and position in respective tanks according to type, then remove at termination of cleaning cycle
Wash parts in cleaning booth with varsol using brush or spray gun
Dip steel parts in inhibiting oil and place on engine part trucks, add chemicals to solutions as instructed by supervisor
Cleaning of tanks, spray booths, trucks, baskets, and engine part racks as required
Perform other duties such as sandblasting, shortening, deburring, and polishing as required

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Experience working with cleaning chemicals
Experience working in the aviation industry, an MRO facility, or other manufacturing environments
