Responsibilities
Design, set up, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure
Perform system setup, integration, and validation of hardware and software network devices
Execute ongoing maintenance of servers, workstations, and network elements to support engineering teams
Support the design, validation, and configuration management of lab systems
Administer user access and protect information in accordance with security requirements
Monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backups, and disaster recovery
Manage budgeting needs for the engineering lab environment
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of experience managing engineering datacenter labs supporting software and hardware development
Extensive experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, KVM, VMware) and network architectures (Cisco, Juniper, Brocade)
Strong expertise administering Windows and Linux server operating systems
Experience with VMware vRealize/Aria and lab automation tools
Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Deep understanding of highly available, resilient, and scalable network infrastructures
Proficiency with IPv4/IPv6 addressing
Independent, proactive, and quality-focused
Fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable producing technical documentation and reports
Motivated to learn and apply new technologies to improve productivity
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, and scripting for automation
