Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and manage security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SOC tools and methodologies
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation
Lead or participate in security audits and compliance assessments
Support migration and integration of legacy security systems to modern platforms
Integrate security controls into network, endpoint, and cloud infrastructures
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to align security with operational needs
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
Participate in threat intelligence sharing and analysis
Deliver security awareness training and technical guidance to stakeholders
Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles (SOC, security engineering, consulting)
Required Certifications (one or more preferred):
CheckPoint: Maestro, CCAS, CCES, CCME, CCTE, CCVS, CCSM
Palo Alto Networks: PCNSE, PCNSC, PSE-P Endpoint, ACE
Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security
Experience with SOC operations, incident response, and vulnerability management
Proficiency in English and Spanish
Preferred
Security architecture and project management experience
Familiarity with security provisioning for large enterprises and public sector
Experience with security automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Big Data Analytics experience is a plus
Desirable Certification but not a must
Fortinet: NSE4, NSE5, NSE7
Cisco: CCNA Security, CCNA Exploration
