Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all orders such as appraisal, verifications, etc. as requested by the Loan Processor
Input and document loan information into the system for processing
Respond to inquiries and follow up with key individuals to resolve problems
Follow up with MLO's on outstanding loan conditions
Support the Mortgage Loan Processors in preparing files for processing and closing
Escalate processing issues to the immediate supervisor or manager for guidance and resolutions
Qualification
Required
Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience
Corporate work experience and some mortgage lending or banking experience with good knowledge of lending regulations and loan processing in a multi-state lending environment is strongly preferred
Organized and detail oriented
Able to develop working knowledge of Bank's credit policies and approval process for assigned loans
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high production environment
Organizing and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to adapt well to a fast paced and constantly changing business environment
PC proficient at the intermediate level
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to provide good client service
Preferred
Bilingual English/Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus
