Responsibilities
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
Ensures software standards are met
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of relative experience; master's degree in a STEM discipline with 0+ years of relative experience; An additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree
Active Top Secret security clearance/SCI eligibility required at time of application
Experience developing in Java or C++
Experience developing in a Linux Environment
Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker for Containerization
Experience working in a cloud hosted environment
Preferred
Experience debugging and fixing defects
Experience scripting with Python or other scripting languages
