Responsibilities
Develops and implement a data science platform to enable the company to leverage its data assets to drive business outcomes
Leads the development and deployment of advanced analytics initiatives to support exposure and claim analysis, ensuring that they are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly
Manages and develop a team of highly skilled data and analytics professionals, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation
Develop and implement data training programs to improve proficiency across teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning
Collaborates with business partners to align data and analytics initiatives with business strategy and integrate into decision-making process
Be a leader of change in the organization by bringing solutions that simplify operations and enable the right analytics to be completed to support the success of our member companies
Execution oriented with a track record of managing an organization to deliver analytical solutions to stakeholders in an effective manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or computer science
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of data and analytics professionals, with a track record of developing talent for the future needs of the organization
Proven track record of successfully implementing analytical solutions that drive business outcomes and operational efficiencies throughout the organization
In-depth knowledge of insurance data and analytical processes with strong expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL and R
Experience with cloud platforms and cloud data warehouses
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the company
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong accountability and attention to detail
