Supervisor Billing Analyst (Remote) (Federal Contracting Experience Required)

Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations as outlined by management
Answer questions and resolve problems related to billing operations as the billing expert
Communicate and coordinate timely communication of identified problems to assure proper follow up is completed to expedite invoicing/claims and ensure proper billing/payment
Supervises Billing Specialists on all billing job functions by providing employee feedback and monitoring daily workflow and results
Monitors Billing Queues ensuring scheduled dispenses have been processed accordingly and that queue is kept at the minimum amount required
Monitors Q-Finiti calls
Performs quality oversight for assigned claims, ensuring proper reimbursement
Recognizes and reports to Billing Manager system problems or suspected issues that would result in the interruption of workflow and/or invoice submissions/reimbursements
Attends meetings and addresses concerns and achievements within the billing department with management
Assists in resolving billing discrepancies with other departmental staff
Participates in the interview, selection and hiring of employees as needed
Provides team orientation and training to new staff on projects, procedures and client requirements
Monitors employee attendance and punctuality, addresses with employee via verbal or written warning when allowed occurrences have been exceeded
Performs duties of the billing specialists as needed
Other duties as assigned

Monitors Billing workloads, submissions, and reviews to ensure even distribution of work and work accuracy
Assists in maintaining billing reconciliation to ensure projects are up to date and revenue is correct
Ensures that all audit, and government required regulations are adhered to
Ensures that projects are reconciled on a regular schedule to ensure proper revenue recognition
Communicates with team members properly and effectively to align with deadlines and applicable changes
Prioritizes project deadlines and communicates efficiently with leadership
Maintains strong relationships with internal and external parties to resolve any billing related issues that may arise
Escalates issues to leadership when appropriate following department workflow
Reviews and approves Billing Analysts’ timecards at the end of each timekeeping period addressing discrepancies or concerns as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in billing or another relevant area
Intermediate level Excel
Working knowledge of Ten-Key by touch
Type average 40+ WPM
Must be detail oriented
Experience deciphering contract language
GED, High School
