Responsibilities
Supervise and manage a team of warehouse employees during the night shift
Assign tasks and monitor workflow to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity
Interview, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse team members
Lead by example through hands-on involvement in daily warehouse operations
Adjust work schedules as operational needs require
Assist with shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks
Check in merchandise and ensure accurate product handling
Read pick tickets and requisitions to select and assemble customer orders
Maintain a warehouse environment that is safe, organized, and accessible
Ensure Warehouse Management System (WMS) accuracy and compliance
Enforce all safety guidelines and ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment
Obtain required licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days
Implement and enforce food safety practices across all warehouse staff
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
Implement processes and procedures and hold employees accountable
Manage shift scheduling and labor allocation
Drive results through KPI tracking and performance metrics
Complete additional job-related duties or special projects as assigned
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 75 lbs. or more
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of related warehouse experience
Prior Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
Strong ability to read and interpret company documents, procedures, and manuals
Basic math skills and ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
Self-directed, dependable, and results-driven
Preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
3+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred
