Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, multi-generational families, and family offices, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
Provide a concierge approach to client service, offering proactive, year-round tax planning and strategic consulting tailored to their unique needs and goals
Communicate complex tax matters in clear, understandable language, ensuring clients are informed and empowered to make sound financial decisions
Manage client expectations and ensure all engagements are completed to the highest standards of quality and timeliness
Oversee and review complex federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, estates, and gift tax filings (Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 709, 706)
Conduct in-depth tax research, staying current on the latest developments in tax laws and regulations (federal, state, and local) to provide innovative solutions and ensure compliance
Develop and implement tailored tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes, including estate and wealth transfer planning
Represent clients in federal and state tax audits, preparing necessary correspondence and documentation
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, seniors, and staff accountants, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
Plan and schedule engagements, monitor workflow, and manage engagement budgets and timelines effectively
Actively participate in the firm's growth by identifying new business opportunities and contributing to internal and external networking initiatives

Required

Undergraduate degree in Accounting required
CPA certification is required
8+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with a strong technical background in high-net-worth individual and related entity taxation
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing teams and workflows
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and detail-orientation
Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., GoSystem) and other financial analysis tools
Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards

Preferred

Master's in Taxation is a plus
