The State of Utah's Division of Technology Services is seeking an entry level developer who is eager to learn and grow into a full stack developer. This role involves developing backend and front end services to meet the business application needs of the Utah State Developmental Center.

Develop backend and front end services used by USDC
Follow established standards
Write unit and integration tests
Participate in code reviews
Troubleshoot and resolve issues

Required

Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles (e.g., some experience with .NET, Java, etc.)
Familiarity with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Eagerness to learn new technologies and a strong desire to grow as a developer
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Angular or Vue.js)
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts (AWS)
Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
