Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls from members, providers, and partners regarding health plan benefits, eligibility, claims status, and coverage details
Document call interactions accurately in the system
Assist callers with plan changes, updating demographic information, and navigating online portals
Research and resolve member issues using internal systems and resources
Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect confidential health information
Meet performance goals related to call quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
Escalate complex issues to supervisors or specialized departments as needed
Provide professional, empathetic, and solution‑oriented service
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and active listening skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and screens
High attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Previous call center or customer service experience
Prior experience in healthcare or health insurance
