Responsibilities

Lead Applications Engineers and manage new application projects for bearing products. Set priorities, review design drawings, cost estimates, test plans, and reports for accuracy, manufacturability, and adequacy
Consult with leadership on complex or new technology designs
Maintain frequent communication with field sales engineers and customer engineering teams to resolve technical issues
Travel domestically and internationally to address design issues and support product marketing through technical presentations, seminars, and customer meetings
Participate in new product development projects and apply creative problem-solving to advance bearing technology
Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement through Lean Enterprise initiatives and 5S programs
Foster a collaborative, customer-focused team environment
Complete additional duties, cross-training, and related tasks as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aeronautical Engineering required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in bearings or related engineering roles
Strong knowledge of self-lubricating bearing systems and bearing design principles
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, and technical specifications
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Customer-focused with strong service orientation
Team-oriented with ability to lead and motivate engineers
Results-driven, dependable, and proactive
Proficiency with precision measurement instruments and documentation practices
Comfortable applying judgment in design evaluation, production hardware assessment, and testing decisions
Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet customer requirements
Flexible work schedule to support business needs
Availability for domestic and international travel
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a 'U.S. person' as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15), which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees, as required by U.S. export control laws
