Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Spring Boot and frontend features using React/TypeScript for kiosk applications
Work on software components that interact with hardware and edge devices, ensuring reliable operation in kiosk environments
Take ownership of day-to-day development tasks, producing high-quality, maintainable code
Participate in code reviews and adopt team-wide coding standards, architecture patterns, and best practices
Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and Platform teams to deliver well-scoped features
Implement unit and integration tests, contributing to software reliability and quality
Participate in story grooming, sprint planning, and technical discussions, providing input on feasibility and effort
Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Helm, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms for automated builds, tests, and deployments
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges between software and hardware
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and long-term maintainability of kiosk software
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience in full-stack, backend, or frontend engineering, preferably with React and Spring Boot
Solid proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with experience developing backend services and APIs
Hands-on experience building user interfaces with React and TypeScript
Understanding of RESTful API design, client–server communication, and state management in frontend apps
Experience writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like JUnit, Jest, or Cypress
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) for containerized deployments
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce maintainable, well-documented code
