They are seeking a Billing Clerk responsible for various billing department activities, including data entry, information verification, and bill generation, while ensuring accuracy in billing processes.

Responsibilities
Set up jobs from a billing perspective, including the entry of labour rates, cost codes, material markups into the billing system
Review contracts to determine billing requirements
Co-ordinate with Project Managers to provide individual job reporting requirements for billing
Run and verify accuracy of computerized reports weekly on a per job or worksheet basis
Data entry of any required information for billing
Attention to detail and verification of customer charges
Review and/or prepare billing summary in Microsoft excel
Prepare paperless billing by adding text, pages, combining files
Run periodic reports to verify billings to make sure everything has been accounted for
Pricing field and shop material and labour as required
Perform such other duties or responsibilities as may be determined by the supervisor or manager
Work with other departments to gather information for billing and improve processes and workflow
Ensure responsibilities and accountabilities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with E.S. Fox Limited safety policy/procedures, ISO 18001 standards and OHSA requirements
Ensures that environmental aspects within his/her sphere of responsibility are adhered to pursuant to ISO 14001 requirements
Qualification
Required
2-3 years' experience in accounting/finance environment
Intermediate skill level working with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail
Speed and accuracy of computerized data input
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to work with others in a professional manner
Well-organized, personable & positive attitude
Preferred
Completion of a college or university level business or accounting program is considered an asset
Accounting knowledge required - added knowledge in the construction industry knowledge is considered an asset
Experience working within the construction industry is considered an asset
