Responsibilities

Investigate, implement, and optimize high throughput miniaturized screening platforms to accelerate purification process development
Develop high-throughput, low-mass screening techniques for assessing resin binding of hundreds of therapeutic products at a time
Explore and validate miniaturized approaches to characterize interactions between chromatography resins, candidate molecules, and their variants
Support optimal design of candidate molecules with reduced manufacturability risks
Collaborate with experts across the organization in automation, process development, analytics, modeling, and research

Required

Ph.D in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related engineering or science discipline
Strong work ethic, must be self-motivated, flexible, able to multitask, and meet timelines efficiently and productively
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Strong use of critical thinking to design, analyze, and troubleshoot experiments
Ability to translate scientific literature in practical solutions

Preferred

Knowledge of protein purification principles, analytical techniques, and high throughput screening techniques
Hands-on experience with laboratory automation and robotic systems, such as liquid handlers (e.g. TECAN, Hamilton)
Experience with protein binding assays a plus
Experience with computational modeling of physical or chemical processes a plus
Proficiency in Python, VB, VBA, and/or R a plus
