Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of accurate cost estimates and bid packages for electrical and low-voltage systems including security, structured cabling, audio-visual, and nurse-call systems
Perform take-offs from drawings and conduct site visits to assess project constructability
Collaborate with preconstruction teams, clients, general contractors, and design teams to develop comprehensive estimate plans
Manage and forecast costs for projects, ensuring bid accuracy and competitive positioning
Submit RFIs and identify constructability concerns within estimate packages
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or higher
7+ years of experience working as an electrical estimator
Strong understanding of electrical installation, repairs, materials, and code requirements; unlimited electrical license is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Trimble AccuBid Anywhere, and LiveCount; ability to read engineered drawings and wiring diagrams
Preferred
Experience estimating projects of more than $20 million in healthcare, industrial, or mission-critical sectors
