DX Data Team Specialist

The role involves reviewing and validating data from various documents and ensuring accuracy in their Transportation Management System.

Responsibilities

Performing tasks safely
Ensuring area housekeeping requirements are met
Abiding by all OSHA rules and LOGISTEED America, Inc. safety practices
Meeting established procedures and productivity, safety and quality standards
Meeting attendance & punctuality standards
Uploading documents to the validation platform
Validating data extraction and information accuracy in the above-mentioned platform
Identifying exceptions and following proper procedure (general and/or customer-specific depending)
Pushing files to the TMS system (CargoWise) to create or update customs declarations

Required

At least 2 years of Operational freight forwarding experience
Fluency in English required
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and phone etiquette
Effective, clear, and concise communication skills
Detail oriented with ability to solve problems independently as well as in a team environment
Proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proven success in and improving quality, service, safety and client relationship in a fast-paced high-pressure setting
Proven competencies in Microsoft Office products
Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and regulations (OSHA)
Ability to pass all TSA background requirements
Ability to work flexible hours according to business needs
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents
Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test

Preferred

Minimum 2+ years operational freight forwarding (customs brokerage) experience preferred
Experience with CargoWise software preferred, but not required
Post-secondary education preferred
Knowledge of import brokerage procedures and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (“Customs”) and Participating Government Agency (“PGA) requirements (including the clearance process, classification, and valuation) is preferred, but not required
