Responsibilities
Assisting in the ongoing support and administration of the Department’s information security program
Assisting with establishing and continuously enhancing the Continuity of Operations (COOP) programs, plans and processes for FDLE in conjunction with the Information Security Manager
Assisting with establishing and continuously enhancing the Disaster programs (DR), plans and processes for FDLE in conjunction with the Information Security Manager
Researching mandates, regulations, and rules for Information Security requirements for the agency
Assisting in the definition, creation, implementation, and enforcement of policy standards and procedures; and
Other duties as assigned by chain of command
Qualification
Required
Knowledge and experience with information security tools, services, and systems used to support an information security program within an organization
Knowledge and experience in incident response, vulnerability threat assessment and mitigation
Knowledge of operating systems as they relate to computer security and auditing
Knowledge of networking protocols and network security methodologies
Knowledge of Information Security concepts and best practices
Ability to develop, test and evaluate security control
Working knowledge of operating system and/or telecommunications concepts
Ability to define, and prioritize work projects
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
