Responsibilities
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for enhancements and new products, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
Deliver software components for solutions for MPSoC products
Define the software needs for future and developing products
Develop Reference Designs and Platforms, which include development of application software system software code
Integrate software components into domain specific software frameworks for video and multimedia
Develop documentation, demonstrations and work on solving customer escalations in system software
Set operational specifications and formulate and/or analyze software requirements
Partake in all phases of the software development including system requirements analysis, coordinating feature design and development across functional and organization boundaries
Utilize expertise with computers and electronics, including computer hardware and software, applications, and programming, as well as knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company products
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
Two (2) years of experience in the position offered or similar engineering occupation
Developing and optimizing compiler algorithms
Designing and testing software for semiconductor devices
Python, C, or C++
Java or JavaScript
Computer, CPU, or GPU architecture
Data Structures and Algorithms
ASIC design
APIs, drivers, compilers, and Kernels
Linux, Unix, or real-time operating systems
