Director/ExecutiveKitson Human Capital Solutions is seeking a River Guide to help navigate the acquisition and growth of a skilled trades staffing firm. The role involves acting as a trusted advisor during the diligence process and transitioning into a hands-on Operating Partner and Board member post-acquisition.

Responsibilities
Act as a trusted operator’s lens during diligence
Pressure-test growth assumptions, org design, sales productivity, recruiter capacity, and margin levers
Advise on risks specific to skilled trades staffing (client concentration, recruiter economics, pricing discipline, compliance, etc.)
Serve as an Operating Partner to the sponsor
Take a Board seat
Be actively involved with leadership on:
Scaling direct placement revenue
Recruiter productivity and incentive design
Sales engine maturity
Professionalizing operations without killing speed
Preparing the business for an eventual exit
Qualification
Required
C-suite experience (CEO, President, COO, or equivalent) at a staffing or recruiting firm
Direct experience in skilled trades, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or technical staffing
Successfully scaled and exited a staffing or people-services business
Deep understanding of direct placement economics
Worked with private equity, independent sponsors, or institutional capital
Strong pattern recognition around what actually breaks as firms scale
Preferred
Former founders, operators, or executives who are now investing, advising, or selectively engaging
