Engineering Administration Manager
The Charleston Place is seeking an Engineering Administration Manager to perform administrative tasks and support the engineering department. This role involves managing schedules, tracking inventory, creating budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting practices.

Responsibilities
Oversee departmental scheduling processes and review timekeeping reports for accuracy; ensure compliance with payroll and scheduling policies
Manage inventory, keep stock and order materials
Assist ADOE and DOE with creating annual budget for expenses
Reconcile department expenses utilizing Expensify
Work closely with accounting to ensure USALI compliance and follow up on vendor payments
Forecast monthly expenses on time
Act as the POC for the engineering department on a daily basis
Monitor building utilities and promptly notify the DOE of any abnormalities
Assist with scheduling outside vendors and calling in trouble tickets
Work closely with the accounting department on the monthly P&L
Assist in developing a world-class engineering team
Oversee and maintain the work order management system, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of departmental tasks
Operate software programs that control HVAC and monitor central plant
Communicate effectively with other departments such as housekeeping and stewarding to work towards a common goal
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Assistant Director or Director of Engineering to support departmental and property objectives
Qualification
Required
2 years of luxury hotel experience preferred
2 years accounting experience or related work preferred
2 years of management experience preferred
Must be able to lift equipment, supplies, etc. of at least 30 pounds
Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure
The role may require extended periods of time on your feet, especially during peak hotel hours or events
Clear vision is important for reading labels, instructions, blueprints, reports, analyzing data, and guest interactions
Good hearing is necessary for effective communication with team via radios, with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders
Frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch
Regularly required to climb ladders, stand, walk, talk and hear; frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms
