Social Media Community Manager

Responsibilities
Define and evolve Nimble’s "social soul." You’ll ensure a consistent, friendly, informative and relatable brand voice across all touchpoints, moving beyond corporate speak to authentic human connection
Go beyond "monitoring" to active engagement. You will lead the charge in the comments section, jump on trending conversations, and foster a "safe space" for our fans to interact with the brand and each other
Develop and execute data-backed strategies to increase reach and follower count without relying solely on paid spend. This includes viral loop planning, community-led challenges, and platform-specific tactics
Identify and engage with key opinion leaders, adjacent brands, and superfans to embed Nimble into the broader cultural conversation
Lead the end-to-end creation of "community-first" content. You’ll shoot and edit high-energy short-form video (Reels/TikToks) that prioritizes storytelling, education, and entertainment over hard-selling
Collaborate closely with the Commerce and Growth teams to ensure social storefronts (TikTok Shop/Meta) are supported by organic "hype." You will provide the community-led content and real-time engagement that builds the trust necessary to drive high-velocity sales
Act as the bridge between our community and the product team. Distill community feedback, sentiment, and "asks" into actionable insights for the wider marketing roadmap
Establish KPIs that move beyond revenue, focusing on engagement rate, community sentiment, share of voice, and organic follower velocity
Qualification
Required
4+ years in Social Media Management with a proven track record of building and sustaining active digital communities
A deep, intuitive understanding of internet culture, memes, and the nuances of different platforms (TikTok vs. IG vs. X)
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to toggle between helpful customer support and friendly brand banter effortlessly
Proficient in mobile-first content creation (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, etc.) with an eye for aesthetic consistency and 'thumb-stopping' hooks
Experience working alongside performance marketing or social commerce teams, understanding how community sentiment and organic engagement serve as the 'top-of-funnel' engine for shoppable platform success
Ability to translate 'soft' engagement metrics into 'hard' growth stories, using data to prove the ROI of a highly engaged community
A natural people-person who enjoys solving problems and building relationships in the comments and DMs
