Responsibilities
Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing our state-of-the-art monitoring systems
Identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters
Ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies
Coordinate effectively with the relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations
Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies. Provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement
Utilize excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills while maintaining a high attention to detail in all tasks
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while working effectively in a high-pressure environment
Adhere to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
Qualification
Required
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
Experience interpreting flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms
Knowledge of weather patterns for flight operations
Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
High School Diploma
Understanding and application of FAA regulations and aviation policy and safety protocols
Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to travel, up to 25% of the time
Compliance with export control license requirements
Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing
Preferred
Experience in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans
Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
Prior experience in aviation, drone operations, or a similar real-time monitoring role
Experience with technical or engineering record keeping methods and tools
Excellent decision-making capabilities under pressure
