The Engineering Intern will learn various functions and processes at the Salisbury Shop, including design, fabrication oversight, and CNC machining processes.

Responsibilities
Must be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated
Will take an active role in the company’s safety initiatives
Must be a self-motivated, strong work ethic individual that is willing to work with minimal supervision
Will learn to use micrometers, calipers, and vision measuring systems
Using Solidworks, Autodesk Advance Steel, and AutoCAD, will assist others with design and detailing requirements as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
High-level verbal and written communication skills
Solidworks or Autodesk Advance Steel Experience Required
Ability to work in an office or shop environment where sitting, standing, kneeling, or bending for long periods of time may be required
Ability to wear PPE while on the shop floor (Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, Hardhats, Earplugs, High-Viz Vest or Shirts, other as required)
