Responsibilities
Oversee daily district operations with an emphasis on subcontracted services and work order management
Manage and oversee janitorial and facilities subcontractors, ensuring service quality, contract compliance, safety standards, and performance expectations are met
Monitor, assign, and resolve work orders to ensure timely and accurate completion
Serve as the primary escalation point for customer complaints and service issues
Respond to service failures by going into the field to assess issues, implement corrective actions, and restore service
Conduct regular site visits and audits to verify service quality and compliance
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and ensure open lines of communication
Coordinate with internal teams to address operational challenges and customer needs
Ensure compliance with Velociti Services policies, client contractual requirements, and regulatory standards
Prepare and participate in operational performance reviews and customer meetings
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5 or more years of leadership experience in an operational or facilities environment
Facilities management or subcontractor-based service oversight experience required
Strong experience managing subcontractors, work orders, and service performance
Proven ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues in the field
Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Willingness and ability to travel within the district and work in the field as needed
Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
Standing for extended periods of time
Approximately equal amount of time sitting and walking
Able to hear and speak into a telephone
Close visual work on a computer terminal
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments
