HR Assistant
Responsibilities
Distribute and track benefits enrollment forms
Review and follow up on employee timecards
Collect and document doctor's notes and employee documentation
Answer incoming calls and respond to general HR inquiries
Monitor and manage the shared HR inbox
Support employee engagement efforts, including sending birthday gift cards and coordinating new-hire welcome gifts
Assist with employment verification requests
Send reminders to managers regarding performance review deadlines
Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining employee records
Support miscellaneous HR and office-related tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
HR internship or 1+ year of administrative experience
Strong Excel skills (basic formulas, data entry, tracking)
Good written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Organized and able to manage multiple small tasks
Comfortable with routine, process-driven work
Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
Patient and able to go with the flow as procedures evolve
