Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to increase loan origination and deposits within the assigned market
Oversee and manage the performance of loan officers and other staff members
Foster strong relationships with key clients and referral partners
Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
Help with current and future growth and expansion needs
Originate retail and commercial loans, meeting, or exceeding sales targets
Provide guidance and support to loan officers, assisting them in closing complex loan transactions
Collaborate with credit and underwriting teams to ensure timely and accurate loan processing
Conduct market analysis and identify areas for business expansion
Represent the bank in various community and industry events
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in originating retail and commercial loans in a banking setting
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations
