LHH is a dynamic manufacturing company seeking an Accounting Manager with a strong foundation in manufacturing finance. The role involves supervising a team, overseeing transactional accounting functions, and driving process improvements while supporting operational efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team including AR/AP staff and a newly hired staff accountant
Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture
Oversee all transactional accounting functions including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Manage traditional month-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Utilize SAP for financial operations and reporting
Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with internal controls
Support risk management and operational efficiency initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of debits and credits; hands-on accounting experience
Active CPA license or substantial manufacturing industry experience
Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience, with a proven ability to mentor and develop staff
Proficiency in SAP and experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, energetic personality
