Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical architectures
Design and oversee the implementation of banking solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices
Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, with a primary focus on Java; alternative backgrounds are welcome
Lead technical workshops, provide guidance to development teams, and ensure best practices are followed
Support the integration of new systems with existing banking platforms, ensuring seamless operation
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Solution Architect
Strong retail or consumer banking expertise
Extensive experience with Java SE and Java EE technologies
Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and cloud-native development (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Preferred
Relevant certifications and a track record of successful project delivery in banking technology are a plus
