Administrative Coordinator

Responsibilities
Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters financial statements, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet database, or presentation software
Prepare agendas and make arrangements, such as coordinating catering for luncheons, for committee, board, and other meetings
Maintain schedule and event calendars and make travel arrangements
Proofread work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that company form policy is followed, and recommend revisions
Manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, correspondence or other material
Coordinate and direct office services, such as records, departmental finances, budget preparation, personnel issues, and housekeeping
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Considerable knowledge of general office procedures and practices
Knowledge of University policies and procedures related to the area of assignment
Skill in making mathematical calculations and computations
Ability to keep complex records; to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to work without close supervision
Knowledge of safe working procedures related to work performed
Preferred
Ability to plan, lead, and manage projects within deadlines
Excellent time management skills, including attention to detail, ability to problem solve
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary settings, as part of a team or independently
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
