Responsibilities
Linux Server Administration: Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, including builds, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Containerization & Orchestration: Administer and optimize containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, or similar platforms
Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: Support hybrid cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including VM provisioning, storage, and networking integration
Monitoring, Backup & Availability: Monitor system performance and manage backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure high availability and data integrity
Lifecycle, Automation & Documentation: Oversee server lifecycle and configuration management, collaborate with development teams, and maintain clear system documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
5+ years managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux or equivalent Linux environments in production
Strong scripting expertise in shell scripting and Python
Proven experience integrating Linux systems with Windows-based environments, including Active Directory, Samba, and Kerberos
Familiarity with hybrid and cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure support and integration
Strong communication and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Collaborative mindset in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience in regulated or financial services environments preferred
