This role involves managing the Claims Analysts team, focusing on North American claims, and collaborating with various departments to improve the claims analysis process.

Responsibilities
Strategic focus (40%) – continuously assess and refine claims analysis process to improve service and address root causes of issues. Act as functional lead for the team of claims analysts. Liaise with other departments to establish and maintain critical relationships
Claims handling and tracking (40%) - collection of distribution claims and investigation with relevant parties (carriers, warehouses, customers) and process owners (market operations, distribution teams, finance). Handle claims process with relevant suppliers
Reporting and analysis (20%) - develop and maintain accurate and concise reporting which provides key information for corrective action by process owners
Qualification
Required
Proficient experience in Distribution, Logistics, or Claims Management
Ability to be flexible and to manage multiple priorities while still achieving agreed upon deadlines
Ability to role model high-performing behavior, both as an individual and part of a team
Ability to demonstrate drive and curiosity
Demonstrated ability to successfully work both independently and in team environment
Self-motivated and highly organized with ability to work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (primarily Excel and Word)
BS Degree or equivalent experience is advantageous
Preferred
Previous claims management experience is preferred
