This role involves leading the evaluation, design, and deployment of SD-WAN solutions while supporting core network operations and collaborating with cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities
Lead SD-WAN evaluation, design, and deployment across a multi-location enterprise network
Provide operational support for Fortinet firewalls, including patching, firmware upgrades, failover testing, and troubleshooting
Partner with the cybersecurity team to support network security policy enforcement and best practices
Administer and optimize Aruba ClearPass (NAC), including tuning, troubleshooting, and improvement projects
Enhance network monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect outages and performance issues
Support routing and resiliency improvements using BGP and OSPF
Improve traffic visibility using NetFlow and/or other traffic monitoring tools to strengthen security posture
Support Azure networking in a hybrid environment as needed
Participate in ongoing network improvements and infrastructure refresh initiatives
Document network configurations, deployment plans, and operational procedures
Qualification
Required
7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
Hands-on SD-WAN design and deployment experience (required)
Experience supporting multi-site enterprise networks
Strong experience with: HPE/Aruba switching and wireless
Strong experience with: Fortinet firewalls
Strong experience with: Aruba ClearPass / NAC
Strong experience with: Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds or similar)
Strong experience with: Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams
Preferred
Azure networking experience (vNets, VPNs, NSGs, DNS, load balancers)
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, segmentation, and modern security practices
Experience with traffic visibility solutions (NetFlow, dependency mapping, micro-segmentation)
